ICATALIST officially launched the Soteria Climate Communities of Practice (CoP) series, bringing together regions, local authorities, and experts to share knowledge and collaborate on climate adaptation and risk assessment strategies. 🌲

Thanasis Sfetsos addressed the growing risks of heatwaves in West Athens, a priority hazard in the region. He presented the first results of the CLIMAAX toolbox on heatwaves and stressed the urgent need for action plans to protect vulnerable populations.

The collaboration between insurance, public authorities, and communities is key to developing effective solutions.
