1st Project Meeting Successfully Completed for CLIMATE-ADAPT4EOSC

We are pleased to announce that the first meeting for the CLIMATE-ADAPT4EOSC project was successfully held on January 17, 2025. This marks a significant step forward in our collaborative journey to develop innovative services addressing climate change adaptation and resilience in line with the European Green Deal.

During the meeting, the Work Package (WP) leaders presented their tasks and discussed important topics such as deliverables, management strategies, and scheduling for upcoming meetings. Preparations for the project’s kickoff event, planned for February 4-5, were also outlined.

About CLIMATE-ADAPT4EOSC

The CLIMATE-ADAPT4EOSC project is dedicated to creating an EOSC-centred collaborative research environment equipped with:

  • Existing and new EOSC data and services, including Interoperability, FAIRification, Open Data Publishing, and Mapping & Entity Matching.
  • Advanced tools enabling Big Data Analytics for climate risk assessments.

By developing three innovative services, the project will provide essential support to the EU Mission Climate Change Adaptation and the European Green Deal. These services will be demonstrated across five EU countries, showcasing their potential to drive impactful climate adaptation initiatives.
