C2IMPRESS Consortium’s 2nd Assembly & 3rd Meeting in Palma de Mallorca (Oct 25-27, 2023)

The C2IMPRESS consortium members were at Palma de Mallorca, Spain from 25-27 October, 2023 for the 2nd General Assembly and 3rd Periodic Meeting. The meeting was hosted by Universitat de les Illes Balears (UIB) and Govern de les Illes Balears (GOIB).

Balearic Islands in Spain is one of the Mediterranean flood-prone archipelagos, historically affected by flash adverse weather events, floods and wildfires; and one of the case study areas for the C2IMPRESS project. This meeting allowed the consortium members to connect, collaborate, and make a lasting impact in raising awareness, empowering citizens and exchanging knowledge for disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate change adaptation (CCA) in the project pilot sites and in Europe in the near future.

C2IMPRESS is a three-year-long project funded by the Horizon Europe Framework Programme (HORIZON) Research and Innovation Actions. The project has built its consortium with 16 European and international partners from cross-cutting disciplines and technological backgrounds.
